What a gorgeous coloring book!! The line drawings in this book are reproductions of actual drawings by John James Audubon. The reproductions are gorgeous and included on the opposite page are photos of the actual drawing. You can use these pictures as a guide for your coloring or go your own way! Just a beautiful book that is incredible to page through whether or not you color the line drawings. The paper is good but alcohol markers will bleed through and ruin the photographs on the back side. I have not tried water based markers or watercolors in this book but I am sure too much wetness will cause this paper to buckle so I would use these cautiously. I will use my colored pencils in this wonderful book!! I am enjoying it already and have not started coloring yet :)
